With each car delivering 239 hp and weighing just 775 kg, competitors will experience the thrill of high-speed racing.
Spanning multiple continents, this championship features twenty-four 55 km sprint races across eight rounds at renowned circuits in Europe, the Middle East, North America, South America, and Asia. This diverse lineup of tracks provides a rigorous environment for drivers to demonstrate their skills.
To foster fairness and tightly contested races, the SSMDG race management employs a comprehensive Balance of Performance (BoP) system. This system takes into account driver levels and performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain equitable competition.

About the SSMD Group
SSMDG Gran Turismo Championship

The SSMDG Gran Turismo Championship has a rich heritage dating back to 2009, when fourteen Hong Kong drivers participated in various competitions. However, as many drivers started families, racing had to be paused.
In August 2018, Franco Wong and Bem Ho reconnected to launch the SSMD Group Gran Turismo Championship with the support of fellow enthusiasts. Today, the championship continues to expand, featuring twenty-three drivers and counting.
Each season introduces a new theme, including Touring Car Races, Japanese Performance, and GT Cars, culminating in the current SSMDG Zoom Car Life SR3 Trophy 2026. The format consists of eight rounds with three races held every fortnight, each preceded by a qualifying event to determine the final sixteen grid positions.
To cater to diverse talent, the SSMDG Driver Level system categorizes participants as Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Green, based on their experience in Gran Turismo and the Average Score per Attended Race (ASPAR).
To guarantee equitable racing, a unique Balance of Performance system is implemented based on lap analysis from each race, complemented by SSMDG Race Regulations that address any overlooked rules.
